Setup Fees are for artwork that is newly created and the artist wants the highest possible quality reproductions created. We call this a Level 1 setup.
We will create high resolution master files that capture all of the fine printable detail of the original and color correct the file so the original color is reflected in the Giclee. We store the proprietary file on our server so future prints are ready to be created at your demand.
The setup fee includes an 8 x 12 proof print that the client must aprove before reproductions are made. The Client keeps the proof and gets a web sized file of the proprietary file for use on their website or emailing. The high resolution file remains with NAP on our server.
Setup Fees vary based on original artwork size. Larger originals require more scan passes, more computer processing time and take up more memory on our server archive. Setup Fees Vary from $35 to $85 depending on original size. Clients can request the full high resulution files for their own archive for an additional $100 per file.
SETUP FEES ARE DIFFERENT FROM SCANNING FEES
Scanning fees are for clients who want the full high resolution files for themselves to use wherever they wish. This encompases all of the above services and comes with FULL resolution disks of your file. We call this Level 2 setup and the price ranges from $110 to $185.
